Adobe Connect Academic User’s Group

Exciting, interesting and oddly spooky… while researching (google-ing) installation problems between PowerPoint 2007 and Adobe’s Presenter (an add-in that enables ppt files to be used in broadcast/rebroadcast on Adobe Connect (formerly Marcromedia Breeze and competitor with WebEx), I discover Adobe Connect Academic User Group (ACAUG). This is SO new there are approximately 30 members. Once I registered, the web site included the “broadcasts” of their first three meetings – on-line via connect! Engaging technology with tremendous potential.

There are a few online seminars scheduled to introduce Connect to schools. Might be of interest to some of you! http://www.connectusers.com/news/index.php?cmd=display_news&id=2670

I am including the link here (connectusers.com) in the event you want to see what this is all about (might want to go directly to the Adobe Connect site as well). (If click does not work, copy/paste this url:  http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatconnect/demo/]

I am very excited because I may be at the point of inception of MY CoP! I am very involved with Connect projects at work and, as a noob, need the help and look forward to my LPP in this *new* CoP! (Actually, I want UNlimited!)
